The summer school will take place at the Institut d'Études Scientifiques (IESC) located on the island of Corsica.

Transportation:

The shortest route to IESC is Ajaccio, and it's only possible by boat and plane. Travel between Ajaccio - Cargèse is about 1 hr by bus.

The bus of the conference (free of charge) will depart from Ajaccio Airport after the last plane arriving from Paris on Sunday evening Sept 6th (≈18h)

It will return from IESC to Ajaccio airport on Saturday, September 12th, at 9 AM

Housing:

On-site housing consists of double rooms (shared) for attendees and single for trainers. Some rooms are at the village nearby, and the distribution of keys is made by IESC staff on Sunday evening at the bus arrival. The nearby village, Cargèse is 1.8 km (28 min walk) away. 

Room fees below include all the lunches and coffee breaks, a solid "welcome aperitif" on Monday evening, and the school dinner of Thursday night. Sunday dinner will be covered by MecaNano (pizzas on site). The other dinners (Monday eventually, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) are on your own (Cargèse offers many options). Breakfasts and lunches are held at the institute for everyone, as well as the Monday aperitif and Thursday dinner.

The cost of a shared room is ca. 390€/week (Sunday-Saturday), while single occupancy is ca. 450€/week (exact prices will be updated before June 15th). These fees will have to be paid by each participant (credit card preferred) on Wednesday 9th at the IESC office.

It is not possible to stay additional nights at the IESC after the end of the summer school. Arrival should be on the 6th September and departure no later than Saturday morning, the 12th of September. If it is necessary to stay additional nights, please make arrangements on your own in or near your city of departure.

Venue:

IESC features two amphitheaters, working rooms, wifi, water fountains (sparkling and still), poster boards and two electric minibuses that may be used on occasion for local transportation.
