Summer School Fee

Thanks to the support from the COST association,  MecaNano does not charge a fee to attend and participate in the summer school.

Other Expenses

In accordance with COST rules, participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel, accommodation, and meal expenses.

Those will be covered by regular COST daily allowances and trip rules, for invited lecturers and attendees (see below)

 Scholarships

Subject to available budget, MecaNano aims to subsidize the travel costs of a number of Young Researchers and Innovators. Selection will be based on merit, research topic, and COST criteria including but not limited to career stage (PhD / PostDoc), geographical location, gender.

Applications should be submitted through the registration form and require that applicants work in a COST country and have already applied for MecaNano membership. Financial decisions will be announced mid June.

If you are selected for reimbursement, please consult the COST rules before booking travel or accommodation. Note that all travel reimbursements are processed after successful participation in the event, and that processing may take several months. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

 

Eligibility

Only MecaNano members are eligible to attend the summer school. If you are not yet a member, please join (free of charge) in parallel to applying to the summer school. Beware that a different platform is used for MecaNano membership, see instructions on the "MecaNano Network" page.
